‘Mommy Doesn’t Wake up All Day’ Crying Girl Calls 911, cops discover horrific situation at her home

A police officer from her team went looking for a little girl who called 9-1-1 and said her mother wouldn’t wake up. Circumstances take a horrific turn when the officer breaks into her house. That evening, the officers were busier than usual at the police station that day, investigating a murder. All the hotlines were busy with calls routed to various emergencies from all over the city. And then there was a strange call from a little girl.

“9-1-1, what is your emergency? » the dispatcher replied as an eerie silence spread in the background, followed by a loud hiss on the receiver.

” I’m hungry. Mom doesn’t wake up all day,” said a little girl, bursting into tears.

“Where are you?”

“I don’t know. Mom told me to call 9-1-1 if I have any problems,” the girl replied, sounding terrified of something.

The dispatcher then asked the girl for more details about her location.

“Calm down, and what’s your name?” »

“Maggie.” »

“Maggie, can you give me your address?” »

After a serious silence, Maggie gave the dispatcher the address where she lived earlier, but she didn’t know where she was currently.

“Maggie, can you tell me about your current location?” Can you describe it? »

Even though the little girl didn’t know the address, she was able to give the police officer visual clues about her current location.

“I see big gray houses outside. There’s a big angry dog barking outside. There are trees and a broken gate outside. »

“Alright, Maggie, stay where you are. We are sending help immediately. »

Details were then passed to Officer Nancy, 34, and her team. They immediately went looking for the girl and arrived at the first address she had given. Cops went to the address and searched for details matching the girl’s description, but found it was completely different.

“Is anyone in there?” » Nancy knocked on the door, but no one answered. She glanced out the window and saw that it was dark and dusty inside. It appears that it has not been inhabited for a very long time.

Nancy then checked with neighbors and learned that a family of three, a man, his wife, and a little girl named Maggie, lived there.

“Do you know where they are now?” »

“No, officer,” a man said to Nancy. “After Mr. Jakes died in an accident six months ago, his wife and daughter became very poor. The landlord evicted them because they couldn’t pay their rent. I don’t know their address, but I heard from a friend who had seen them in a poor area 20 km from here. »

Nancy followed the clues and flew to this place. It was getting darker and darker, and to make matters worse, the area had no electricity.

“Shh, a second,” Nancy shushed a fellow officer after hearing the faint sound of a dog barking somewhere quite far from their spawn. She remembers Maggie mentioning a dog that wouldn’t stop barking near her.

“Maybe that’s it. Let’s go this way. »

Nancy asked her team to follow her and arrived at a small, dilapidated house. Nancy turned on the flashlight to get a clearer view and noticed someone’s silhouette near the window. She looked closely and saw a little girl crying and asking for help. A stray dog was constantly barking outside and charging towards the cops. Nancy quickly picked up a rock and threw it at the dog, scaring it. Then she kicked the door open and entered the house, little guessing what else was inside.

“Hey, it’s okay, it’s okay, don’t cry,” Nancy comforted Maggie, who ran to her crying. The girl looked hungry.

” I’m hungry. Mom doesn’t wake up all day. She’s sleeping,” she chanted repeatedly.

Nancy carried Maggie outside and put her in the car.

“Please give him some cookies.” I’ll be right back,” she told her team and went back inside to check on Maggie’s mother. She searched for the woman in every nook and cranny of the house but could not find her. As Nancy continued to search, she found a door leading to a basement. She walked in and found Maggie’s mother lying unconscious on the floor. Nancy ran to the scene and touched the woman to wake her up, only to feel her body cold. Maggie’s mother was dead.

“Officers, come in quickly!” » Nancy panics and immediately alerts doctors and social services. Moments later, an ambulance arrived and collected the woman’s body for an autopsy.

Nancy didn’t know how to break the news to Maggie because she thought her mother was sleeping.

“How am I going to tell him that his mother is dead?” » Nancy wondered.

“Mom, where are they taking my mom?” Mom, wait! » Maggie ran after the ambulance. Nancy stopped, hugged her tightly and tried to comfort her.

“Honey, mom will be fine. Be a good girl and listen to what I say. »

“No, I want to go to mom’s. Leave me. »

“Honey, mom is coming back. You’ll stay with me until then, okay? »

Maggie started crying. She hugged her little teddy bear tightly. When social services arrived moments later, they told Nancy that the girl would be placed with a foster family. For some reason, the cop didn’t like the idea, and it hurt him even more to think about the impact it would have on five-year-old Maggie when she learned her mother was dead.

“No, I will take the child home tonight. She needs to clean, eat and calm down. I’ll take him to the shelter tomorrow. »

Despite the risks, Nancy brought Maggie home.

“My God, darling, who is it?” » Nancy’s husband Jacob was stunned when he opened the door and saw Nancy holding a sleeping Maggie in her arms.

“I’ll tell you everything, darling, but not now. I’m tired. Can we eat first? I found his mother’s body in the basement,” Nancy told Jacob everything.

“Were you able to find out how she died?” »

“No, I don’t know how to tell him. She still thinks her mother is fine in the hospital. Her heart will break when she learns the truth. Poor thing. »

“But how long do we keep her with us? » Jacob asked when a strange idea struck Nancy that night after Maggie had fallen asleep.

“Honey, I was thinking, why don’t we adopt Maggie? » Nancy asked Jacob. “We have been trying to have a baby for a very long time. I really don’t know what’s wrong with my body. The tests are good, there are no complications, but I don’t know why I can’t conceive. »

It turned out that Nancy and Jacob were not able to conceive for several years. They tried every method to have babies, but to no avail. At one point, Nancy had even given up on the idea of becoming a mother and started focusing entirely on her career. She was exhausted and constantly in a bad mood, thinking she would never be able to have children. Being with Maggie healed her grieving heart, even if it was only for a few hours.

“Honey, look at her. He is a little angel who needs the love and support of his parents. She will be put up for adoption and a random couple will adopt her. Why don’t we welcome it? It’s such a beautiful little miracle. What do you think? »

Jacob thought about Nancy’s words as he looked at Maggie, who was sleeping soundly between them. He felt their innocence and presence erase the hollowness of their lives and realized that this was the joy he had dreamed of all his life. He didn’t care that Maggie wasn’t his biological child. According to him, a family was about love and affection, not genetics. Jacob agreed to adoption, but the next big challenge was how Maggie would react to seeing her mother’s funeral.

The next day, Nancy left Maggie with the foster family, promising to pick her up soon, and took her to her mother’s funeral. Two days later, anxiety arose as Nancy led Maggie to her mother’s casket. She didn’t know how to tell the little girl that her mother had died of a heart attack, as the autopsy revealed.

“Honey, stay here. This place is so quiet, isn’t it? » she tried to distract Maggie.

“Yeah, lots of butterflies, flowers and candles. What are these crosses for? And what is in this black box? »

Poor Maggie didn’t know it was a coffin that contained her mother’s lifeless body.

“Honey, sometimes when God loves us and becomes overprotective of us, he invites us to his house in heaven, and we can live there with him forever. »

“A house in paradise? » exclaimed Maggie.

“Yes, my dear. »

“Where’s mom?” I want to see her. »

“Honey, your mom went to live with God and she told me to take care of you. You’ll know everything when you grow up. »

Nancy’s heart tore as she couldn’t explain it any further to a naive Maggie. Tears kept falling from her eyes as she hugged the girl tightly and realized that it was time to make the next most important decision of her life.

A few months later, Jacob and Nancy adopted Maggie and threw a lavish party for their friends and family to celebrate their joy. Jacob gave a toast, his laughter filling the party.

“I thought the happiest day of my life was the day I met Nancy,” he began, “but I was wrong. I was happiest when I saw my wife holding a little miracle sleeping soundly in her arms, and when she asked me: “Honey, can we be his parents?” I couldn’t deny the pleasure of becoming a dad. Well done to my happy little family of three. »

“No, no, no, honey, wait, not three,” interrupted Nancy Jacob, who was shocked. “We’re going to be a happy little family of four,” she revealed, handing him an envelope with a positive pregnancy test.

Jacob could not believe his eyes and was indeed the happiest man on Earth. Nancy’s prayers were beautifully answered at just the right time.

“Happy little family of four, everyone,” Jacob toasted, his tears of joy welling up in his eyes.
