Dad Gets Revenge By Killing His Child’s Rapist, It’s All Caught On Video

A desperate father took brutal revenge on his child’s rapist, and it was all caught on camera. Then he said, “If that had been your child, you would have done the same thing too.” » After seeing what he did, you decide. Would you have done the same thing?

Gary Plauche’s son Jody was just 11 years old when he was kidnapped by his karate coach Jeff Doucet, who, like many abusers, tested the limits with Jody, setting him up for abuse, according to ESPN . Doucet assaulted the boy several times before finally kidnapping him and taking him to Disneyland.

The abuse began when Jody was just 10 years old. Doucet asked which of his young athletes wanted to learn to drive, and Jody’s hand shot up. The next thing Jody knew, he was sitting on Doucet’s lap, driving a 280Z. “But then his hands were in my lap,” Jody recalled many years later. “I’m like, ‘What’s going on here?’ Maybe it was an accident? So I didn’t say anything. But now I know he was testing the limits. School pedophilia. They all test the limits.

From there, the abuse escalated. Doucet would stop practice and send the rest of the kids to 7-Eleven for snacks. “Not you, Jody,” he added quickly. “I need to do a little more work with you,” he claimed. Then, when the coast was clear, he took Jody to his back room.

Afraid to tell anyone, Jody made all sorts of excuses as to why he didn’t want to go to his karate class. But Doucet would show up at Jody’s house anyway and drag her away. June, Jody’s mother, believing that the coaches know what is best and trusting Doucet, would let her son go with the man, never thinking for a minute that her boy was being molested.

That’s when the unimaginable happened. Jody went missing for 10 days when Doucet took the boy on a bus from Port Arthur, Texas, to Los Angeles, California. When Doucet finally let Jody call his mother collect, police traced the call to a motel in Anaheim. Jody was eventually returned to his parents, but his father, Gary, was heartbroken to learn what had happened to his son. A rape kit proved that Doucet sodomized Jody while he had her in Anaheim. The father simply could not bear this news. So he hatched a plan to get revenge on his boy.

While Doucet was being extradited, he got off a plane and drove to the airport in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a sheriff’s escort and moving news cameras. Gary Plauche waited near a row of payphones with a snub-nosed .38 revolver in his right boot. Gary was facing the wall and talking on the phone. “There he is,” Gary whispered to his best friend Jimmy. “You’re about to hear a gunshot.” Rolling news cameras captured the powerful scene that unfolded next.

Gary Plauche was not bluffing. He grabbed his gun, turned and fired a hollow-point bullet directly into Jeff Doucet’s brain from just three feet away. He then lowered his gun and hung up. “An unidentified man shot Jeff Doucet at the airport,” the news anchor said as Gary’s wife June turned on the news at the Plauche residence. Even though June didn’t know what her husband was doing that day, hearing those words gave her a good idea. Her knees gave way and she fell backwards onto the mat.

Within 24 hours, Doucet was dead and Gary was in custody – but he wouldn’t be there long. Fortunately for Gary and perhaps surprising for all of us, a judge ruled that Gary did not pose a threat to the community, and his sentence reflected that. Gary Plauche has been released from prison. He received a seven-year suspended prison sentence, five years of probation and 300 hours of community service, which he performed at his local church, mostly cutting grass. But his family’s reaction to what he had done was perhaps worse than any time behind bars.

“You’re going to hell for this, you know that, right?” June told her husband this when she first saw him behind bars immediately after he shot Doucet. Gary simply said, “I know.” As for Gary’s son, he was also angry with his father. “I didn’t want him to die,” Jody Plauche explained decades later. “I just wanted him to stop.” Jody became lettered in four sports in high school, but the most important thing he did was teach parents how to stop pedophiles such as Doucet from molesting their children through his work at a victim services center in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

“I once received a letter from a woman who wrote: ‘I told my daughter that if someone touches you inappropriately, it’s not murder. It’s worse than murder. It kills a child’s soul. So what is this little girl supposed to say if she is ever attacked? » Jody Plauche asked rhetorically. “She doesn’t want her soul to die. So she doesn’t tell anyone about it. According to Jody, her father made the same mistake. It made him too scared to tell his father about the abuse, as he rightly feared his father would kill the man.

“My father was absolutely too extreme,” Jody said. “He used to tell people, ‘If anyone touches my child, I will kill him.’ I knew he wasn’t joking. That’s why I couldn’t tell anyone. And that’s exactly what he ended up doing,” he added. “My dad went to the airport thinking he was going to die,” Jody said. “He said either Jeff or him was going to die that night.” For this reason, as an adult, Jody Plauche often speaks about child sexual abuse and encourages parents not to talk about sexual abuse in extreme terms. “It’s not right to take someone’s life,” Jody asserted, “but when someone is that bad, it doesn’t bother you much in the long run.”

June, his mother, sees things differently. “Are you kidding? Do you know how many children haven’t been molested because he’s no longer on this earth? she asked. As for Gary, he hasn’t spoken much to the very late after suffering a stroke He has since died, but he probably remembered it until his last day About a year after Gary Plauche killed him and his son’s rapist. her boy was walking when Jody suddenly He had just seen a man strikingly resembling Jeff Doucet shaken, he told his father that he really thought it was his attacker. His father stopped for a second before boldly stating: ” I knew that wasn’t the case.”
